Sticker Organizer

If you're preppy like me, there's a good chance you collect stickers from your favorite companies! I know I have a bunch but there are so many and I hate clutter!

This is what my stickers looked like before:

This is after!

All you need is this index card holder from target! I made little name brand tags (stickers come with index card holder), and organized them with this!

Then just because Imapreppygirl *wink*, I added a monogram with some paint!

Hope you enjoy this tip! If you don't have stickers, check out a couple posts back on how to get some!

Pineapple Canvas DIY

Supplies needed:

To start, this is what you'll need, plus whatever you plan on using to hold your paint, I used a paper plate. All of this can be bought at Michaels craft stores, but can also be found at target or other craft stores.

Take the wrapping paper and wrap your canvas up like you would a present, then continue to crease the sides for cleaner edges.

My next step after that was done was to paint the design I wanted (I chose pineapples), and I continued to paint them on my canvas/ wrapping paper in white.

I then waited for them to dry, and went back and repainted them in pink!

This was my final product! I hope you enjoyed this diy, if anyone tries it please comment below to let me know  how yours turned out! This was made to be put on my wall of art I have been working on, stay tuned for more diys that will be added to it, and eventually a blog post on all my art!

Blogger Tag

For this blog I worked with @thelittlethingoflife , we took inspiration from the preppy girl tag on youtube! I don't have a youtube (even though I plan to make one soon), and we thought all of us bloggers and readers deserve a tag to do too! So here we are! I nominate everyone reading this and will nominate a few specific blogs later down this page!

Back to school Essentials 2015

This year I will be a senior in high school! I only have six classes and I need just a few basic things but I like to add a little prep to my essentials! (a couple essentials not specifically mentioned were my Tusk in the Sun Lilly pencil case, a Lilly wristlet, and lastly a Simply Southern coffee tumbler because I don't think I could go one morning without coffee.

My first essential is my Lilly Pulitzer Planner! I also added a monogram from @astitchofhappiness , you can use the code 'IMAPREPPYGIRL' for 10% off!

First I will show off my notebooks, I am so excited about how cute these turned out this year! Jadelynnbrooke sent me this 'Donut worry be happy' notebook and I am completely in love! They had a couple of other choices too and I highly recommend them! (this will be my math notebook)

Next I have my Science notebook with a monogram from @palmettocoast15 on instagram, as well as an 'Ain't no party like a tailgate party' from Jadelynnbrooke! I have a white and gold notebook from OfficeMax, for a class called entrepreneurship,  which has a bow monogram from @astitchofhappiness!

Next I have three last notebooks, one for Government, one for English and one for a teaching class I am taking! The green notebook has a Marley Lilly sticker, Simply Southern sticker, and a JadelynnBrooke sticker, then I have a white notebook that I painted with navy chevron and later added an old tusk in the sun monogram from St. Louis Monograms, and lastly I have a Lilly Notebook sporting a monogram from @astitchofhappiness!

If you want stickers like mine, read up on my blog post a few posts back to get free stickers, and check out @astitchofhappiness for all your monogramming needs!
Next I have my binders, I tried a mixture of things on those including painting, stickers and print outs!

The picture on the right is the inside of my backpact! This year I decided to get a Herschel Supply Co. backpack. This was a company I'd never heard of but I saw the seersucker inside and couldn't resist!

These are my back to school essentials and I hope you enjoyed reading about them! Make sure to Comment and Follow!

Pencils DIY

Here are some of the materials I used for this DIY, these were the supplies I initially was told to buy, and then there are some separate materials I found out I needed along the way!

Initially my directions said to buy pencils, paint (craft smart), a thin tip sharpie, and a paint brush,

I had all of these supplies around my house so I was ready to get started, so I thought.

After painting the pencils with a first coat, I realized it would take several coats, 3-4. I had some white spray paint left over from a diy (soon to come) and I sprayed half of my pencils with that and ended up only doing two coats on the one I sprayed!

I also suggest having a couple paper plates, to put paint on, and to lay out the pencils so they can dry and not stick to anything. I made the mistake of setting the pencils to dry on a piece of paper and they dried sticking to it so when I pulled them off, there were bits of paper stuck that I ended up having to rip off and do another coat of paint!

But here are my instructions on how to do this the easiest way possible:

1. Buy all the materials listed above (buy Martha Stuart paint instead of CraftSmart).
2. Start by spray painting the pencils and letting them dry across a paper plate.
3. Get a good amount of paint on your brush and evenly coat the pencils and set them across the plate to dry (repeat with all of the colors).
4. Depending on how thick you layer the paint, wait about an hour and make sure your pencils are dry, give more time if needed.
5. Add another coat if needed.
6. Pick out what you plan to write and trace out letters in pencil first, that way you can erase if you need to.

7. Trace words in Sharpie!>>>

That's it! It is a fairly easy diy and is a perfect lazy day craft, if you try this please comment below about your experience!
