Krass & Co

Recently I was reached out to by Krass and Co, they are an adorable athletic wear company with bright colors and fun patterns ,this brand is perfect for the girl that loves color, which is most definitely me. They sent me a few products to review and I am completely obsessed with every one of them.

Sailors Delight Tank:
This tank is super light weight and comfortable, I paired it with some Lilly Pulitzer white beach shorts, this outfit is perfect for running errands, doing yoga, lounging around, or working out.

The next look is perfect for the 4th of July, I'm sporting the Lucky Liberty Leggings and the Lucky Liberty Sports Bra, I also threw a tank over this later and it looked great! One thing I was concerned about was the band at the top of the leggings, its adorable however I was curious as to how to style things with it because I expected the band to get in the way. However, when you throw on a tank, you can barely see the band at all (unless you tie up your shirt). The leggings are super comfortable and I'm obsessed with the fact that they're navy! No more Blavying for this girl.
I love all these wonderful pieces and I encourage you to check out www.krassandco.com for all of your athletic apparel needs.

Pool Float Guide

As a lot of you may have noticed on my Instagram @Imapreppygirl , I may or may not have a slight addiction to pool floats and accessories. However I have some tricks up my sleeve on where to find the cutest floats (some for amazing prices) and I hope you all enjoy this guide and find the floats you've been looking for. And just as a side note, I personally do not even have a pool, just a pool float addiction, this is possible.

5 below is one of my favorite places to buy pool floats and accessories AND on top of that, they are all five dollars, or less!

I know what you're all thinking, "these Pinterest famous Donut floats are at 5 Below!?", and to put it simply, yes, I personally have the pink one from 5 below itself, the only difference between this one and the $20 ones are that the $20 are slightly bigger, and maybe a little nicer quality, but for $20 I could get two pink donut floats, AND two brown donut floats, OR I could get one slightly larger and nicer donut float, the choice is yours my friends.
So now the question is, what else is at 5 below that you didn't know about, well here are a few others:

Flamingo:
Pizza:
Mini Flamingo drink floats:

Lilly Beach Ball (free with purchase at Lilly P. Memorial Day event)
Pineapple Float: Toys R Us (linked below from another site)
ps. sneak peak to my 20K post!
Donut Drink Floats, find them here:

Everyone has also been raving about the candy floats and the bird floats, although there is no one place to get all of these, here are some links and pics that could help you find what you are looking for!

Smarties and Tootsie Rolls:

Dots Candy Float:

Gummy Bear Float:

Junior Mints pool float:
Ice Cream Sandwich:
"Look at all those chickens", just kidding, but here are the bird floats:

Swan Float:
 Golden Swan:
$150 for this set of 4, but these are super fun also!

I hope y'all enjoyed this pool float guide and that your summer will not FLOAT by too fast!

Coffee with Katie

Today I finally got around to meeting one of my followers named Katie (@thervaprep), we (used to) go to the same high school and have been waiting to meet each other for a while now! We decided to meet up at Randolph Macon College (Ashland, Va) and take some photos and grab coffee too! Here are some of the photos Katie took of me and a look into our adventures today!

Katie took some awesome shots of me and I also took some photos of her! You can find those on her blog and Instagram @thervaprep! During our trip we came across an adorable little bakery that was themed Pink, Gold, White, and Black! The interior was adorable and I will definitely be visiting it again for photos and sweets!

What's a meet up without Starbucks? Our next stop was Starbucks and I got my forever favorite drink which is the Iced Mocha with light ice (aka more room for coffee), Katie got an iced caramel macchiato and a chocolate cake pop, we talked at Starbucks for a couple hours all about high school and blogging and just life in general.

Next I took her home and got a quick picture with both Katie and her little sister Kristen!

More photos from today below! You can expect to see blogposts on a few of these outfits coming soon! All in all I had an amazing time with Katie, she is so sweet and genuine which is hard to come by now a days. I am so blessed to have met such a sweet person and y'all can expect to see collaborations and photo shoots with her in the future! If you haven't already, check out @thervaprep on Instagram!

Graduating in Lilly

As some of you know, I recently (yesterday, June 18th) graduated from High School! High School was a wild ride but I think its safe to say I'm ready for the next chapter. I got my Diploma, I finished with good grades, and I will not continue my education at East Carolina University. Here are some Pictures from Graduation Day! As Elle Woods would say, "we did it!".

What High School Taught me/ highschool advice

1. Take required classes as early as you can because it will catch up to you.

2. You will meet the most amazing people that you wish you'd met sooner, your senior year.

3.Grades are important EVERY year (not just junior or senior, so don't slack underclassmen)

4. You don't have to be a senior to be rowdy at football games, everyone wants you to be loud!

5. Upperclassmen only pick on underclassmen because it happened to them when they were the underdogs, it'll lessen each year and eventually you'll be on top!

6. Not everyone is going to like you, so loving yourself is key.

7. Go to the dances, they may be lame but you'll make the best memories there.

8. Surround yourself with people that lift you up, and are positive.

9. Find friends with the same passions as you (ex: singing, running, theater).

10. Not everyone is nice but petty high school drama is everywhere and it's best to just stay out of it.

11. Pick at least one class you'll enjoy.

12. Take the sat early and apply to colleges early so that you'll have less stress your senior year.

13. Make checklists and to do lists.

14. Never be afraid to express yourself, dress the style you want to dress, cut your hair the way you want, dye it how you want to, this is your world and you choose how you want to live in it.

15. It's OKAY to not know what you want to do in college or after, but family members will ask you very often so try to have an idea (this will mainly happen senior year and they will also ask what college you want to go to).

16. Do NOT stress over the things you cannot control.

17. Some things can wait, take time for yourself and prioritize what's important.

18. College will come soon enough, enjoy your time in high school.

19. Have a friendship with a teacher or two, it'll help you enjoy their class more (I personally have two teachers that are amazing and helped me all throughout high school).

20. You will wish high school away and one day it will end, you'll look back and realize it flew by. (I feel like just yesterday I was a freshman and here I am ready to graduate tomorrow.)
